Speeding and Tripping
I have been speeding on Chamberlayne Road more times than I care to remember. Thankfully those days are behind me now and I don't think it is appropriate for the Herald to glorify amphetamines in this way.
By the way - that car looks as if it is going very fast too.

My companion at the screening last night, an amiable flapper from somewhere in the boondocks where they knit hosiery, said there was nothing about speeding in the above picture. She quoted this as an example of the inscrutability of the Herald generally. I took her remarks very seriously, almost like Andrew Gilligan's allegations. I would've had to resign. But following a disciplinary hearing with Ossian, he reassured me that there is indeed something about speeding in the picture (Exhibit A.) Only you have to click on it to find out (Exhibit B.) I'm not sure if I approve of these double pictures - you never know what you're going to get when you click on a picture now. I'll drink on it and decide tomorrow. As I say, I'll think on it, but I still don't fancy clicking on that shadowy one below...
